Hi there. I have 2 female turkeys, bronze and white, but have had more in the past. I have hatched turkeys in my incubators and find them the easiest birds to hatch. I'm quite keen to get some of the royal palm turkeys one day as they look beautiful.

Me too! I have a couple of trips planned but am free between 14/5 and 14/7 so would love to come if that suits. A nice change to go up north! Anyone who wants to come here to Coatesville and get a ride up with me is fine with me.

Well I tried putting blocks of wood in the nest boxes but the broodies just sat on top of them! So then I just decided to block off the chook house totally during the day and only let them all in at night. At the moment I've got THREE broody hens! They are very determined but I am also very determined they are not getting any eggs to sit on! It's the wrong end of the season girls...........
