Wanting to buy Gold Laced Wyandotte bantam chicks or hens. The closer to Taranaki the better but can travel.

Try the new zealand rare breeds site, or the taranaki poultry club under the new zealand poultry association

To my knowledge there are no gold laced Wyandotte bantams in New Zealand. Do you mean partridge Wyandotte bantams? They are reasonably common and lovely little chooks. Good layers and good broodies.

Interesting.. I'm pretty sure there are, I got some Gold Laced Wyandotte and Partridge Wyandotte bantam eggs from a show breeder friend of mine. Only 3 hatched and they're currently 6 days old, will definitely know what breed they are for sure once fully feathered :)

That's very interesting. If there are any they are very rare - I've never seen one.
