Congenital encephalocele

In a tiny duckling. It's the most gorgeous tiny wee thing with a strange misshapen head. Anybody know anything about this please?

Sorry, Gilly - I don't know anything about this. The only experience I have is vaulted skull in Silkies and Silky crosses. Whether that's the same I don't know.

The chicks I had grew up fine but none of them ever reached sexual maturity. If they get startled they jump up against the roof and without protection there they eventually hit it so hard that they die from the impact.
