i use the non slip matting that you can buy for lining kitchen cupboards etc, for hatching on. i dont have many issues with legs now. & its in a roll so can cut it to fit any size & its cheapish. i find the ones with the bigger holes are better as its easier for them to grip & it lets the air through.

is it easy to clean off? or do you just use it once & throw it out?

i usually use a couple of times. fairly easy to clean soak to get most off then you can throw it in the machine. :lol:
