I am wondering if anyone has looked at the beautiful cake recipe in this book??Lemon and Sour Cream Cake"...yummmm.
Looking at the ingredients,I noticed that 1 Tbsp of baking powder is required......Would this be right!!!!!!! :o :o :o

I haven't tried this recipe but it could be a level table spoon?

Have you tried it? How did it turn out?

I couldn't find my vol 2 to look at the recipe. Got it now though. It looks about right to me. Since the recipe states flour I assume that means plain flour, so baking powder is required to make it rise. The numbers I usually see thrown around are about 1tsp baking powder to 110g or so grams of plain flour. So that would be between 3 and 4 tsp of baking powder for the 400g of flour. 3 teaspoons = 1 tablespoon.
One of almost everything, a veritable rainbow of chickens. And Project Motzle.
