Heartland Poultry Club Annual Show

Who's going? I know a few, but surely with over 800 entries there are more of you that will be there?

I'm going down on Saturday afternoon and coming back Sunday. Would love to meet up with some of the people who chat on here.

800 poultry entries? Or 800 entries in total?

I won't be going - am waiting for the shows closer to home..

Well I'm only going by what Greg from Chook Manor says, but he says "800+ Poultry, Pigeons, Ducks, Cage Birds and Eggs"

Also, going by this article from last year's show - assuming that it will be even bigger this year....

It's two and a half hours drive from Amberley, so surely only one and a three quarter from Christchurch? I'm really looking forward to it.

Oh, ok - 800 in total - that makes more sense. They put on quite a good show I've heard but having the Christchurch show (almost) at my door step I'll go there and Ashburton is on my itinerary as well. Those 6 weeks time difference mean that a lot more birds will be show ready for Christchurch and Ashburton. I do, for instance, not have a single bird ready to show right now :(

There also is Rangiora - close to you, NZKings.

I'll probably go to them all if I can :)
