info on chick bugs

some info inhere on the parasite that chicks get would be great anyone keen to put some up my chicks got it ...luckily all still alive (my brooder house too warm not enought ventilation) i sorta knew about it but not what causes it :roll: got meds from vets but they were not exactly full of knowledge

Hi Penny,

That nasty parasite that can kill chicks is called coccidiosis.

Glad to hear your chicks are getting over it and I hope they continue to thrive.

yep saw it i was just too lazy to find how to spell it ,yep they all look good now and i have another batch of chicks well seperated and will be very vigilant have bought some little chick feeders and better waterers to keep it cleaner all lessons i guess and glad i knew a little bit before hand or they would be dead, thats why i asked if someone would put up some info as i,m sure i,m not the only chicken crazed person around haha :mrgreen:
