Australop with red bum/vent

Postby Baaarney » Wed Dec 23, 2015 12:03 pm

Hi
Our Australop has a very red bum/vent and has a lost a few feathers from around the area. Apart from that she is her happy self and is still laying eggs every 2-3 days. Just wondering if we should be worried and what we should do to treat it?

(hopefully the photo appears below)

Thanks

Nothing to worry about I reckon. Exposed skin gets red and she's only got very few feathers missing. It will all grow back during her next moult.
