Blue ears

What NZ breeds do we have with blue ear coverings? I have a beautiful dark grey pullet in her first year of laying which I am wondering if it's not what I think it is..

Silkie is the only breed I can think of with blue (turquoise) ear lobe colouring. I've done a bit of crossbreeding with Silkies and most of the offspring I got had ear lobes partially covered with blue.

mmmmh! the pullet was a very interesting chick. She had dark lavender fluff with a very yellow head when hatched. She later developed this dark grey, but her head was slightly darker and she had such a mop of head feathers, I thought she might be part houdan this coupled with some full siblings from later hatches which were black with white patches, but they were boys. I actually had to clip the sides of her topknot as she couldn't see. She lays intensely blue eggs. She has a longer tail than her mother.
Her mother is an interesting hen, bantam sized who lays white eggs. her colouring is Columbian necked, black and gold flecked feathers, and her body colour is blue laced with a pale maroon centre. Very pretty. They both have slate legs. Father of the dark grey pullet is my Araucana. I'm about to put some more of mother's eggs into the incubator to see what else she might produce.

This sounds like an incredibly interesting colour. Have you got a photo of the bird?
