Oxford Old English Game

Postby Marina » Sun Aug 16, 2015 12:22 pm

Best Hard Feathered Fowl, Christchurch 2015, a Gold Duckwing Oxford Old English Game cock. This bird also won Best in Show, Christchurch 2014. Exhibited by Sue and Gavin Greenwood, judged by John Taylor.

Gavin breeds full sized Oxford Old English Game Fowls to perfection. They are a pleasure to view - proud and tall. No fluff on them, either, just pure weight and fighting power. These are the birds that were used in the fighting pitts, the pride of their owners.

You can try and send them a private message. Not sure if they are still active on this forum.
You could also look up the rare breeds society and contact some breeders listed there.
